Three students from Alevoor Poornaprajna Public School enthusiastically participated in a district-level quiz competition organised at Rajangana, Sri Krishna Matha, Udupi, on Saturday, 22 August 2026.
The competition was organised by Paryaya Sri Shiroor Matha on the occasion of Sri Krishna Janmashtami. It aimed to create greater awareness among students about the rich cultural history and heritage of Udupi, as well as the life and teachings of Sri Madhwacharya.

Chirag, Adithi K. L. and Vaibhav Bhat represented Alevoor Poornaprajna Public School at the event. The students were guided and coordinated by Mrs. Arpitha.
The preliminary round was conducted as a written test comprising 50 questions for a total of 100 marks. The questions were based on reference materials relating to Udupi’s history, cultural traditions and heritage. Nearly 30 schools from across Udupi district participated in the competition.
The event provided the students with a valuable opportunity to broaden their knowledge of the region’s cultural legacy while demonstrating enthusiasm, concentration and teamwork.
Alevoor Poornaprajna Public School appreciates the sincere efforts of the participating students and their teacher coordinator and wishes them continued success in future competitions.
