Inspirational Address by Chief Guest, Dr. Narendra Kumar

The programme began with a warm welcome to Dr. Narendra Kumar, whose presence brought immense motivation to students and teachers alike.
In his address, he expressed appreciation for:

  • the hard work and discipline of students,
  • the dedicated leadership of the Principal, and
  • the tireless efforts of the teaching staff.

He then shared three powerful mantras for a balanced and successful student life, symbolised as the three corners of a triangle:

1️ Study

Building knowledge, sharpening intellect, and preparing for a competitive world.

2️ Sports

Developing fitness, teamwork, courage, and determination.

3️ Food & Health

Eating nutritious meals, maintaining physical well-being, and cultivating healthy habits.

He emphasized that in today’s competitive world, students must strive to be good in their academics, excel in sports, and take proper care of their health.

He reminded students that:

  • There are no true “losers” in sports—only those who fail to discover themselves.
  • Every child must identify their strengths, understand their areas for improvement, and keep growing.
  • Health is the foundation of success, and good food choices shape a strong mind and body.

Referring to Ata, Uta, and Pata, he stressed the importance of learning, practicing, and understanding in every stage of life.

Dr. Narendra Kumar concluded by wishing every student great success, encouraging them to move ahead with confidence and purpose.

A Powerful Life Lesson by Dr. Sureshramana Mayya: The Iceberg of Success

Following this, Dr. Sureshramana Mayya delivered a memorable and thought-provoking message through the iceberg metaphor.

He explained that an iceberg reveals only 10% above the surface, while 90% remains hidden—symbolizing the unseen efforts behind every success.

People notice:

🏅 medals
🏆 victories

But they often miss the larger foundation:

  • discipline
  • persistence
  • practice
  • disappointments
  • passion
  • inner growth

He reminded students:

“The stronger your invisible efforts, the higher you rise in life.”

This message deeply inspired the young athletes as they prepared for the day’s events.

A Day of Sportsmanship, Joy, and Determination

The sports meet featured a vibrant march-past, energetic drills, thrilling races, and house events filled with excitement. Students participated wholeheartedly, supporting each other and demonstrating true sportsmanship.

Regardless of the results, every participant carried the spirit of Udaan
to try, to rise, and to never give up.

Conclusion: Wings Ready for Flight

Udaan 2025 ended on a high note, celebrating not just winners, but every child who put in effort, discipline, and heart.
The day reinforced the message that success is built on hard work, balance, and belief in oneself.

The journey continues—and the sky is just the beginning. Some of the snaps of the sport day are given below:
