Alevoor Poornaprajna Public School is delighted to organise Gokula Utsava, a joyful celebration of the birth of Lord Krishna, on 2 September 2026 from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
The programme is being organised especially for our young children to experience the spirit of Krishna Janmashtami through devotion, colour, culture and togetherness.
Children May Dress as Radha and Krishna
Parents are encouraged to send their children dressed as Radha or Krishna to add colour and festive spirit to the celebration. The school looks forward to seeing our little stars participate enthusiastically and make the occasion memorable.
Important Information for Parents
Parents are kindly requested to note the following arrangements for the day:
Gokula Utsava: 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
Play Group to Grade 4: No regular classes will be held during the morning session.
Afternoon: Normal classes will be conducted as usual.
Children participating in the celebration may come dressed as Radha or Krishna.
The celebration aims to introduce children to our rich cultural traditions while nurturing values of love, friendship, devotion, sharing and togetherness associated with the life and teachings of Lord Krishna.
Parents are requested to take note of the schedule and make the necessary arrangements for their children.
