Teachers’ Training Report – CBSE Training Program

Teachers of Alevoor Poornaprajna Public School, Ms. Prema (English Teacher) and Ms. Chetana (EVS teacher), attended a two-day CBSE Teachers’ Training Program held in Bangalore on 20th and 21st May 2026.

During the first day’s session on Child Pedagogy, the participants learned the importance of understanding children’s learning styles, interests, and developmental needs. The training emphasised child-centered teaching methods, activity-based learning, and the creation of an inclusive classroom environment that supports every learner.


On the second day, the teachers attended an enriching session on Phonics Teaching Methods for Primary Students. The training highlighted how phonics helps children connect letters with sounds and strengthens their reading, pronunciation, spelling, and vocabulary skills. The session included practical demonstrations on letter sounds, blending techniques, teaching digraphs, vowel sounds, and sight words.

The training


program proved to be highly informative and beneficial. It enhanced the teachers’ classroom management skills and deepened their understanding of modern teaching practices. The sessions provided practical ideas to make learning more interactive, engaging, and student-centred. The participants also gained confidence in implementing new strategies and activities in their classrooms.
