The “Sparkle-N-Grow & Book Release for Pre-Primary” workshop organized by the Udupi Shree Adamaru Matha Education Council (USAMEC) was informative, inspiring, and well organized. The programme focused on important areas of pre-primary education and provided valuable guidance for teachers.
A key highlight of the workshop was the session on Child Psychology (Age 3–6), which helped participants understand young children better. The workshop also included sessions on Growth-Based Pedagogy and Activity-Based Phonics Learning, which were practical and useful for classroom teaching.
The resource person, Smt. Sarala Puthran, explained the topics clearly through real-life examples and activities, making the sessions engaging and easy to understand.
Teachers Ms. Anitha and Ms. Vijayalakshmi from Alevoor Poornaprajna Public School participated in the programme and gained valuable insights into various aspects of pre-primary education.
The programme management, time schedule, and hospitality were excellent. The book release added value and served as a source of motivation for teachers involved in pre-primary education.
The workshop encouraged innovative and experiential learning methods. Participants learned more about child-centered teaching methods, gained ideas for phonics activities and classroom engagement, and learned about yearly planning and documentation for pre-primary schools. The programme also inspired teachers to use creative and joyful learning techniques in their classrooms.
Overall, the workshop was a meaningful learning experience that provided practical knowledge and useful ideas for pre-primary educators.
