Alevoor Poornaprajna Public School, under the guidance of the Udupi Shree Adamaru Matha Education Council, organized a Capacity Building Program (CBP) – a workshop on “Competency in Handling CBSE Curriculum for Teachers” on Saturday, 20th September 2025, at the Poornaprajna Institute of Management, Udupi.
The session was led by Dr. C. K. Manjunath,
Director of Academics and Training, Poornaprajna Institutions. With his rich
experience and deep expertise in the field of education, Dr. Manjunath
enlightened the participants on effective strategies and competencies essential
for handling the CBSE curriculum. His insights aimed at enhancing the quality
of teaching and learning in classrooms.
Throughout the workshop, teachers were introduced
to practical methods of curriculum implementation, classroom management
techniques, and innovative teaching practices. The interactive approach
encouraged active participation, allowing teachers to share perspectives and
gain actionable skills that can be directly applied in their teaching
practices.
The program was graced by Mrs. Sandhya V. B.,
Principal of Alevoor Poornaprajna Public School, along with the Advisors of
Alevoor Education Society, who extended their support and encouragement.
The workshop concluded with a reaffirmation of
the timeless thought:
“The great aim of education is not knowledge but
action.”
This message underscored the importance of
applying acquired knowledge meaningfully in real-life situations.
Overall, the workshop was an enriching and
motivating experience. It strengthened teachers’ professional skills and
inspired them to contribute more effectively towards the holistic development
of students.
