As part of our commitment to fostering holistic growth and mental
well-being, Alevoor Poornaprajna Public School organised a Pranayama session
for students on 8th July 2025. The session focused on introducing children to
simple yet effective breathing exercises that promote focus, emotional balance,
and physical vitality.
Under the gentle guidance of our instructors, students learned
foundational pranayama techniques such as:
- 🫁 Anulom-Vilom
(alternate nostril breathing)
- 🌬️ Bhramari (humming bee breath)
- 🧘♀️ Deep abdominal breathing
The environment was calm and serene, creating the perfect space for
children to experience mindfulness and inner peace. The young participants
showed keen interest and remarkable discipline during the session. Their
eagerness to learn and follow the breathing patterns was truly heartening.

The session concluded with a brief reflection where children shared how peaceful and focused they felt. Teachers too appreciated the initiative and encouraged students to make Pranayama a daily habit.
