Date: 11th November 2025
Alevoor Poornaprajna Public School successfully conducted the second dose of the DPT vaccination for selected students on 11th November 2025. The vaccination was carried out smoothly by the Health Department staff, with the support of the school teachers and administration.
The DPT vaccine protects children from three serious diseases — Diphtheria, Pertussis (Whooping Cough), and Tetanus. These illnesses can be life-threatening, but with timely immunization, children can remain safe and healthy.
During the vaccination drive, students cooperated well, showing courage and discipline. Teachers assisted in maintaining order and ensuring that every child received the vaccine in a calm and reassuring environment. Parents were also informed in advance, and their encouragement helped make the process even smoother.
🌿 Importance of Vaccination in Schools
Vaccination drives in schools are crucial because they help reach children collectively in a safe and supervised setting. Schools play a key role in promoting public health by ensuring that every student gets access to essential vaccines. By hosting such programs, schools not only protect individual students but also help in building community immunity, preventing the spread of infectious diseases.
💬 School’s Commitment to Student Health
Our school believes that a healthy student is a successful learner. Regular health check-ups, vaccination drives, and awareness programs are part of our ongoing effort to ensure the well-being and holistic development of our students. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the medical team, teachers, parents, and students for their cooperation and support in making this initiative a success.
