On 30th August 2025, teachers from Alevoor Poornaprajna Public School had the privilege of attending EmpowerU – 2025, a Teacher Empowerment Programme organized by Rotary International District 3182 in association with DIET, Udupi. The event was hosted by Rotary Udupi Zone 4 and brought together educators from across the region.
Focus of the
Programme
The EmpowerU initiative was designed to provide
teachers with new insights, tools, and approaches to strengthen classroom
teaching and overall educational practices. The sessions highlighted:
- 🌱 Early Childhood Care & Education (ECCE) methods
- 📖 Innovative teaching strategies for holistic learning
- 🌍 Nation-building through education – aligning classroom
teaching with broader social goals
- 🤝 Collaborative exchanges between educators and academic
leaders
Distinguished Rotary officials, educational
experts, and facilitators guided the sessions, emphasizing the role of teachers
as change-makers in society.
Our School’s
Participation
Representing Alevoor Poornaprajna Public School, Mrs.
Vilasini and Mrs. Ashwini actively participated in the workshops and
discussions. Their engagement and learning from the programme are expected to benefit
our teaching practices and enhance the learning outcomes of our
students.
