We are delighted to
share that our students participated in a wonderfully creative and
collaborative Pencil Shaving Group Activity today. The event provided a unique
platform for young learners to turn simple pencil shavings into beautiful and
imaginative pieces of artwork.
Working in small groups, the students used pencil shavings to create flowers, butterflies, animals, and abstract patterns—each group showcasing their own creativity, teamwork, and flair for detail.
🎯 Objectives of the
Activity:
- Enhance fine motor skills and hand-eye
coordination
- Encourage collaboration and group creativity
- Introduce eco-friendly craft using recycled
classroom materials
- Boost confidence and imagination through art
The activity was met
with cheerful enthusiasm as children eagerly contributed their ideas and worked
together. Teachers guided the process while letting the students take the lead
in artistic expression.
It was a joy to witness
the transformation of everyday pencil waste into artistic masterpieces, with
each student proudly showcasing their group’s final creation. The vibrant
energy and smiles around the classroom made it a truly memorable session.
We thank our
enthusiastic students and dedicated teachers for making this event a grand
success. We look forward to conducting many more such engaging and enriching
activities!
