We are excited to share some big news with our students, parents, alumni, and well-wishers!
As per Government Order No. G2: 01: 2025-26, dated 28th August 2025, from the Deputy Director, Department of School Education, Rajatadri, Udupi District, our school’s name has officially changed from Nehru English Medium School, Alevoor to Alevoor Poornaprajna Public School (APPS), Alevoor, Udupi Region.
A Journey Since 1964
Our story began in 1964 as Nehru High School.
Over the years, we’ve grown and adapted — including the launch of our Pre-Primary
Section in 2014 — to provide quality education from the early years through
high school.
Today, APPS continues to function under the Alevoor
Education Trust, with a renewed mission focusing on holistic learning, academic
excellence, and strong values.
What’s Next?
From the academic year 2026–27, APPS will
proudly adopt the CBSE curriculum, opening up broader opportunities for our
students and aligning with national educational standards.
Our Promise
Nestled in the peaceful village of Alevoor,
Udupi, our school blends traditional values with modern teaching methods to
nurture character, competence, and creativity in every child.
We thank all our stakeholders for walking with
us in this journey — and we look forward to creating many more milestones
together.
