On 11th August, ARON 2K25 – Allied Revelation Occasion Novaglow, an impactful awareness program was organised for students of Grades 4 to 8 at Adarsha Institute of Allied Health Sciences, Udupi. The session aimed to educate young learners on two important social and health concerns – Dengue prevention and Drug abuse awareness.
The program commenced with an enlightening talk on Dengue awareness. Students were introduced to the causes and symptoms of the disease, along with effective prevention strategies. Emphasis was placed on maintaining cleanliness in surrounding areas to prevent mosquito breeding, underscoring the importance of personal responsibility in public health.
This was followed by a thought-provoking discussion on Drug Awareness. The session shed light on the harmful effects of substance abuse, ways to overcome peer pressure, and the significance of making healthy life choices.
What made the event especially memorable was its interactive nature. Students were encouraged to ask questions, share their perspectives, and participate in activities that reinforced the key messages. This engagement ensured that the knowledge shared went beyond the classroom, fostering awareness that can influence real-life decisions.
The initiative reflected the institution’s steadfast commitment to turning awareness into action, and action into hope. By empowering students with knowledge at a young age, Adarsha Institute continues to nurture a generation that values health, responsibility, and informed decision-making.
